Basketball: Jackie Voigt, Gophers visit Saturday at the Park

Park 2008 graduate Jackie Voigt brought her Minnesota Golden Gopher women’s basketball teammates to lead the Cottage Grove Athletic Association’s Saturday’s at the Park free basketball clinic on Saturday, July 16, at Highlands Park in Cottage Grove.

    Jackie Voigt led a recent Saturdays at the Park basketball clinic in Cottage Grove. Voigt, a 2008 Park grad, was the first athlete in Park High School history to be named All-State in three different sports and the St. Paul Downtown Lion’s Club Athlete of the Year as a senior.

Park 2008 graduate Jackie Voigt brought her Minnesota Golden Gopher women’s basketball teammates Kayla Hirt, Rachel Banham, Micaella Riche, Nicole Mastey, Katie Loberg, Amber Dvorak and Sari Noga to lead the Cottage Grove Athletic Association’s Saturday’s at the Park free basketball clinic on Saturday, July 16, at Highlands Park in Cottage Grove.

Voigt was the first athlete in Park High School history to be named All-State in three different sports and the St. Paul Downtown Lion’s Club Athlete of the Year as a senior.

The Saturdays at the Park program is for boys and girls from kindergarten through eighth grade. A donation of a non-expired, non-perishable food item for the food shelf is asked in return for the free program.
