Grey Cloud students 'off to see the Wizard' one last time

The annual performances of “The Wizard of Oz” by Linda Shaack's third-grade classes at Grey Cloud Elementary School in Cottage Grove are coming to an end this year.

The annual performances of “The Wizard of Oz” by Linda Shaack's third-grade classes at Grey Cloud Elementary School are coming to an end this year.

A silent auction of items used in the play will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, at the school. Proceeds will go to take next year's third-graders to see a play.

Shaack plans to teach one more school year before retiring.
