Carol M. Kemp, 77

Carol M. Kemp, age 77, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 15, 2011. Beloved wife, mother, caring friend.

Carol was born June 19, 1933, in St. Paul, Minn. She enjoyed gardening, her pets, reading, traveling, and was a caring friend who generously helped many.

Preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Hilda Walter.

Will be dearly missed by Daniel, her husband of 59 years; daughter, Jane (Roger Brown).

Funeral service 11 a.m. Thursday, May 19, at Grace Lutheran Church, 199 8th Ave. S., S. St. Paul, with visitation 2 hours prior to service at church. Private interment Cottage Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Grace Lutheran Church Brass Fund or donor’s choice.
