A local thanks to military after bin Laden's death
Someone posted a hand-written banner on the side of the American Legion Post 98 in St. Paul Park congratulating the U.S. military on locating and killing terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden.
It's a small show of thanks to the U.S. military for a major anti-terrorism victory.
Just hours after President Obama announced late Sunday that U.S. forces located and killed terrorist mastermind Osama bin Laden in Pakistan, someone posted a hand-written banner on the side of the American Legion Post 98 in St. Paul Park congratulating the military.
The paper sign held with duct tape was visible Monday morning on the side of the building at 328 Broadway Ave. It read in part: "Congratulations Armed Forces Thank you!"
