$586K lottery prize still unclaimed in Washington County

Check the numbers on that old lottery ticket before you toss it.

The Minnesota State Lottery said Tuesday a deadline is nearing for the winner of a Gopher 5 prize worth $586,214. The winning ticket was sold in Washington County for a drawing on April 30, 2010. Nobody has claimed it in nearly a year, and the Lottery said the ticket holder has until May 2 to present the winning ticket at its headquarters in Roseville. (Players have one year from the drawing date to claim prizes.)

The winning ticket's numbers were 33-34-38-41-44.

If the ticket is not claimed, the winnings -- like all unclaimed lottery prizes -- will go to the state general fund.
