The Park wrestling team walloped Cretin-Derham Hall 84-0 on Thursday, Dec. 16, accruing the maximum amount of points in a match that lasted only 17 minutes.
In the match, Park registered nine pins and five forfeits.
Mike Lehman, Chris Carte, Cody Linssen, Nate Bauman, Blake Berney, Corey Flaata, Kenny Gerhardt, David Ayers and Emilio Huerta each won with pins.
“The two biggest wins came at 189 and 285,” Park head coach Jim LaBrosse said. “Both Cody and Mike were put on their back at the beginning of the first period and came out on top with pins. It was a good night for us and I hope this win helps us get ready for next week’s sectional match ups.”
Park played host to New Richmond, Wis. and section foe Eagan on Tuesday, Dec. 21, at Park, after the Bulletin went to print.
Next, the Wolfpack hits the road to take on section opponent Henry Sibley on Wednesday, Dec. 22.
