Civic experience: Former Planning Commission member; ran for mayor in 2008, finishing third
Why he’s running: “It didn’t look like there were any candidates — or enough candidates — to fill the hole of conservative people to fill the positions. Everybody seems to think there’s an open pocketbook there at city hall and they’re all willing to spend money on stupid things that don’t need to be spent on.”
