Halloween events take place all over south Washington County this weekend along with a spaghetti dinner at the Accacia Masonic Lodge in Old Cottage Grove, the traditional parade sponsored by the Cottage Grove Strawberry Fest Committee, to a party with your pet.
The Cottage Grove Strawberry Fest Committee is hosting its third annual Monster Bash party from 5 to 11 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 29, at the VFW Post 8752 Red Barn, 9260 East Point Douglas Road.
Families are invited for a taco dinner, dance, silent auction and costume contest.
Carpenter Nature Center in Denmark Township invites preschoolers and a parent or guardian for a Costumes and Critters story time from 10 to 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 29. Children, 2 to 5 years old, will hear a story, create a craft and take a hike outdoors.
