Logan and Courtney Beckman’s first child was due Oct. 8, but they were well aware that their child’s birth date could end up 10/10/10.
The Prior Lake couple arrived at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury Saturday afternoon.
Courtney pushed for about 50 minutes Sunday morning and delivered a healthy Hudson Miles Beckman at 10 a.m., making it a 10 a.m. birth on 10/10/10.
"That was not planned,” said Courtney, 27.
Logan added: “She was not waiting until 10:10.”
The couple said the timing of the birth was pure coincidence.
"The funny thing was no one looked at the clock," Logan said.
Another number coincidence: Woodwinds is marking its 10th anniversary this year.
Logan also joked that his newborn son “was the multiples of seven" because he weighed 7 pounds 14 ounces and was 21 inches long.
