Charlie Company 134th Brigade Support Battalion, with headquarters at the Minnesota National Guard Armory in Cottage Grove, is hosting its third annual rummage sale from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Sept. 23 and 24, at the armory, 8180 Belden Ave.
Residents at Norris Square, the senior residence at Hadley Avenue and 80th Street in Cottage Grove, are sponsoring a bake sale from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 24. All proceeds from the sale will help support the Alzheimer’s Association Memory Walk.
A two-day re-enactment of the life of a voyageur is planned from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 25 and 26, at William O’Brien State Park two miles north of Marine St. Croix on Highway 95.
A golf tournament to benefit Park High School wrestlers and the Pat Knop Memorial Scholarship Fund is scheduled on Saturday, Sept. 25, at River Oaks Golf Course, in Cottage Grove.
More than 60 vendors displaying a wide variety of fine art will be featured at the 32nd annual Afton Art in the Park Fair on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 25 and 26. The fair, sponsored by the Afton Area Business Association, is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, and from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday in Afton Town Square.
Rehabilitated birds of prey will be released at 11:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, at Carpenter Nature Center in Denmark Township.
Great River Greening is leading a prairie restoration event from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Woodbury Conservation Corridor, a prairie remnant on the border of Woodbury and Cottage Grove. Everyone is welcome to participate.

Century College’s annual Lights On for Safety event will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, in the auto shop on East Campus, according to a press release. The school is located at 3300 Century Ave. N. in White Bear Lake. Auto Service Technology students will perform a free vehicle light inspection. Burned-out headlamps and other exterior lights will be replaced in exchange for cash or non-perishable food donations.
The Park High School Class of 1970 will celebrate its 40th class reunion from 6:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 25, at the Cottage Grove VFW Red Barn, a 9260 East Point Douglas Road in Cottage Grove.
