Brandon Wayne Smith was born on Monday, June 28, 2010, at Regina Family Birthing Center in Hastings to Mark Smith and Becky Riddle of Hastings. Brandon weighed 7 pounds, 9.7 ounces, and measured 21 inches long.

He was welcomed home by sibling Zekey Kimlonger, grandparents, Randy and Debra Riddle and Vera Smith, both of Hastings and great-grandparents Dave and Beverly Steichen of Cottage Grove and Abe and Emilia Candelaria of Hastings.
