Chris Palmatier, Oltman Middle School vice principal, is leaving School District 833 to become principal of Twin Bluff Middle School in Red Wing.
Palmatier, who started as a language arts teacher in the district 19 years ago, has lived in Red Wing for 17 years.
On June 10, Palmatier, while serving up a picnic lunch for eighth-graders leaving to go on to high school, said he’s looking forward to his new job, which begins July 1, because his children are at the school and he will be closer to home.
