Alyssa Monn and Jason Thompson of Newport announce the birth of their son. Jason David Thompson was born on Thursday, May 6, 2010, at Regina Medical Center in Hastings. He weighed 8 pounds, 8 ounces, and measured 21 inches long.
He was welcomed home by grandparents, Al and Annette Monn of St. Paul Park and Jason and Carolyn Thompson of Cottage Grove. His great-grandparents are Andy and Bonnie Anderson of Haggerstown, Ind., and Virginia and Mike Liberty of Blaine.
