East Ridge softball takes fifth at Lakeville North tournament

The East Ridge softball team took fifth place, going 2-1, at the Lakeville North Tournament on Saturday, May 8, in Lakeville. East Ridge (8-7; 4-6 SEC) defeated Farmington 3-1 in the fifth-place game after falling 6-5 to Wayzata in the opening round, and beating St. Francis 6-5 in the consolation semifinals. Lakeville North won the tournament, defeating Lakeville South 2-0 in the championship game.
East Ridge returns to Suburban East Conference play as it travels to Roseville on Monday, May 10, to take on the Raiders.
