Park softball finishes seventh at Eastview Tournament

The Park softball team finished in seventh place, going 1-2, at the Eastview Tournament on Saturday, May 8, in Apple Valley. Park (7-6; 6-4 SEC) beat Virgina 6-3 in the seventh-place game after falling 4-3 to Winona Cotter in the first round and 6-0 to Hermantown in the consolation round. Winona Cotter is ranked fourth in Class 2A and Hermantown is ranked third in Class 2A. Eagan won the tourney, defeating host Eastview 1-0 in the championship game. The Wildcats are ranked No. 2 in Class 3A.

Park returns to Suburban East Conference play, taking on Hastings — which is ranked third in Class 3A - on Monday, May 10 at Park High School's Charlie Whitbred Field.
