When Grey Cloud Island Town Board members went to put up weight-restriction signs on its roads, which is done every spring until the ground thaws out, they found that signs were stolen from a storage area.
The board noted that new signs will be ordered and is contemplating having truck-weight restrictions year-round.
“If your kids have road signs in their rooms,” said Board Chair Dick Adams for the benefit of those watching the meeting on government cable television, “ask them where they got them.”
