House candidate Kriesel appears on Fox and Friends
A Cottage Grove resident and contender for the District 57A Minnesota House of Representatives seat got some national attention by appearing live Monday morning on Fox and Friends, a show on Fox News.
A Cottage Grove resident and contender for the District 57A Minnesota House of Representatives seat got some national attention.
John Kriesel, who is running as a Republican for the seat currently held by Karla Bigham, appeared live Monday morning on "Fox and Friends," a show on Fox News.
In the live interview with "Fox and Friends" anchor Steve Doocy, Kriesel said he does not want his candidacy to be defined by the injuries he sustained while serving in Iraq with the Minnesota National Guard.
“I don’t want people to look and say because I was injured I feel sorry for him so I want to vote for him,” Kriesel said. “My injuries do not define who I am. I want them to look at me and see that the way I overcome adversity is what defines me.”
