Highway 61 between highways 10 and 95 reopened at 2:07 p.m. Wednesday after a rollover involving a propane tanker truck closed the highway for more than five hours.
Emergency crews on the scene had to wait for a crane, which lifted the tanker truck out of the center ditch.
The accident, which involved the tanker and another vehicle, occurred at 8:58 a.m. Wednesday at Highway 61 and Highway 95/Manning Avenue, north of Hastings.
The crash caused minor injuries, according to the State Patrol incident report. A press release from the Cottage Grove Department of Public Safety said two people were transported to the hospital.
The diesel gas tank on the truck was leaking, and the road had to remain closed until the spill was cleaned up, according to the State Patrol report.
