To the anonymous gentleman at Perkins Restaurant in Cottage Grove: On Monday, Feb. 1, we had the privilege of accompanying seven of our Norris Square residents for brunch. This was a special treat for us. After we had finished our meals, our waitress told us that our meals had been taken care of … our bill had been paid! Upon questioning, all the waitress could provide was that it was paid by a gentleman who had already left. Thank you for making a special outing even more wonderful and giving us much opportunity to talk about generosity and caring. It was a very much appreciated and unexpected act of kindness. Thank you very much.
