Talk about it

To get first-graders ready for the holidays, Pine Hill Elementary School teachers scheduled a morning of fun activities on Dec. 18.

Students, with the help of parents at every station, enjoyed having their faces painted with holiday designs and winter activities. Candy canes were popular with the girls and the boys preferred crossed hockey sticks.

Other activities included holiday Bingo, bean-bag toss, bowling, coloring, making a Santa hat, frosting a cookie with sprinkles and playing indoor hockey.

By design, students got a prize at each station and put them into “goodie bags” made and decorated by the children.
