The following incidents recently appeared on the Cottage Grove Police Department call log:
A resident in the 8800 block of 91st Street reported Monday, Dec. 14, that someone fraudulently purchased an $800 item on their credit card.
A car accident involving a semitrailer occurred Monday, Dec. 14, at about 11:47 a.m. in one of the roundabouts on Jamaica Avenue and Highway 61. No injuries resulted from the accident.
A man reported Monday, Dec. 14, he was pick-pocketed at the Washington County Government Center on Ravine Parkway in Cottage Grove, and since then unauthorized charges have been made on his credit card.
A snowblower was reported stolen Monday, Dec. 14, from an unattached garage on Hale Avenue.
A two-vehicle accident occurred Tuesday, Dec. 15, at about 9:17 a.m. at 79th Street and Hemingway Avenue. No injuries were reported, and one vehicle was towed.
Two customers entered Cub Foods Tuesday, Dec. 15, having forgotten to close their car door and when they returned their handicap parking placard was gone.
Someone from the loss prevention department at Target reported Tuesday, Dec. 15, that a man attempted to steal a Nintendo Wii and games.
Police responded around midnight Tuesday, Dec. 15, to a report of a car crash in the 7700 block of Hearthside Avenue. A vehicle had crashed into a tree, and was unoccupied when police arrived. An individual came out of a nearby home and identified himself as the driver of the car. Police did field sobriety tests and a breathalyzer test, and issued David Reynolds, 38, of Stillwater, a citation for fourth-degree DWI.
