A 92nd Street resident reported Wednesday, Nov. 25, that their daughter left the house on foot after striking her in the face and that she had previously assaulted her.
A resident in the 8000 block of Innsdale Avenue reported Wednesday, Nov. 25, that an unauthorized withdrawal of $600 was made from their bank account.
Police were called to the 8400 block of Jody Lane Thursday, Nov. 26, on a report of a 28-year-old male on the floor bleeding from his head. The complainant reported his nephew struck him with a metal bar and fist. The nephew fled the scene, but was later arrested.
A resident in the 7400 block of Hidden Valley Trail reported their residence was burglarized between 8 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 24 and 2:40 a.m. Friday, Nov. 27. Entrance was gained by breaking a lower-level window, and a 50-inch television, jewelry and bottles of alcohol were missing. Police have a potential suspect.
Two Hinton Heights residents were cited for disorderly conduct Saturday, Nov. 28 following an altercation between neighbors. Police responded to a report of a bag of human fecal matter being thrown from one patio to another. The person who threw the bag, Gerald J. Ortez, 31, was cited with disorderly conduct, as was Mandy J. Alfveby, 31, for allegedly swearing at a neighbor’s children.
A resident in the 8000 block of Jergen Avenue was arrested Sunday, Nov. 29, for allegedly hitting his daughter and causing a red welt on her leg.
A storage shed in the 8700 block of Greystone Avenue was reportedly broken into Sunday, Nov. 29 between 1:15 and 8 p.m. Power tools, a circular saw and a tool chest were reported stolen from the shed.
A Belden Boulevard resident reported Monday, Nov. 30 that someone had created fraudulent checks from their account and passed them at two stores. The bank reimbursed the person for their loss.
A resident in the 10000 block of Ideal Avenue reported fraudulent activity on a company bank account Monday, Nov. 30.
A lighted wire deer and snowman, valued at $50 each, were reported stolen Monday, Nov. 30, from a home in the 8800 block of Jewel Avenue.
A resident in the 8500 block of Kimbro Avenue reported Monday, Nov. 30, that someone tried to use his identity to take out a loan for a snowplow.
A boy reported that he and six friends were standing by the McDonald’s bike rack Monday, Nov. 30, when an 18-year-old man took his bicycle and started riding it around the parking lot. He then said he was going to take it around the block. The boys chased him, but couldn’t catch him. Police checked the area, but weren’t able to track down the man and the bike.
A resident in the 7200 block of Jordon Avenue reported Monday, Nov. 30, that a $30 snowman was stolen from their yard.
