Someone tried to obtain OxyContin from the Walgreen’s pharmacy Monday, Nov. 16, using a fraudulent prescription.

Police are investigating alleged fraud involving bad checks that occurred Tuesday, Nov. 17, at the Bulletin License center.

A purse was reported stolen Tuesday, Nov. 17, from a vehicle parked at Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park. About 45 minutes before the report, two men were arrested for fraudulently using one of the credit cards in the purse at Target. Paul J. Brown, 26, of Brooklyn Park, was charged with financial transaction card fraud. The other man wasn’t charged with a crime.

A man reportedly left Kohls with stolen items Wednesday, Nov. 18.
