Wedding: McCool-Ewy

John and Patti McCool of Cottage Grove announce the marriage of their daughter Amy Lynn McCool to Matthew Ewy, son of Rick and Brenda Ewy of St. Paul Park.

The wedding was held at All Saints Lutheran Church in Cottage Grove on Friday, Aug. 14, 2009, with Pastor Jules Erickson officiating. The ceremony was followed by a reception at the River Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove.

Kelly McCool, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor accompanied by bridesmaids Ericka Panek, Abby Gilles and Christine Lisson. The flower girl was Mikayla Fee and the bride’s personal attendant was Jessica Fiedler.

Bryce McGuire served as the best man. The groomsmen were Shane Ewy and Travis Ewy, brothers of the groom and Matthew Dague. The ushers were Jake Erickson and Andrew Meier.

Jenny Gnan and Jenny Uecker gave the readings. Music during the ceremony was provided by Karen Pieper, pianist, and vocalists Virginia and Matt Podobinski.

Amy is currently finishing her elementary education degree at Winona State University. Matthew is a Marine stationed at Camp Pendleton, California.
