Too many misspellings

I might just be in ninth grade but I’m tired of the misspelling of the names of the kids who are in the paper! It might not matter to you unless it’s your kids, but it matters to us and our parents because it’s big for us to see ourselves in the local paper. Recently I was in the school play and my friend and I were in the paper. You spelled both of our names wrong. My last name is Diedrich and in the paper it was spelled “Dietrich.” This has been happening to me for a long time and I’m sure that it’s happened to many of my school mates too. Someone needs to stand up for this because I’m sure little kids are happy to see their pictures in the paper and then look at their name and see that it’s spelled wrong. It might be small to you but it’s pride to us. So please, spell our names right.
