The following incidents were recently reported to the Cottage Grove Police Department:
A resident in the 7500 block of Hillside Trail reported Wednesday, Oct. 14 that $2,500 worth of fraudulent transactions made on her Visa card.
A 45-year-old Cottage Grove man was arrested Wednesday, Oct. 14, for interference with a 911 call following an argument with another person in the Applebee’s parking lot.
A 55-year-old man was arrested for theft and trespassing at Kohl’s Wednesday, Oct. 14. The man had been caught shoplifting from Kohl’s in the past and had been given a trespass notice for all Kohl’s stores.
A Hemingway Avenue resident had been gone for two days, and when the resident returned the back service door of the garage was wide open and 25 to 30 DVDs were stolen from the living room. A lamp had also been disassembled.
Some loose change was reported stolen Thursday, Oct. 15, from two vehicles in the 8100 block of in Innsdale Avenue. There were high-value items in the cars that weren’t taken.
A wallet was reported stolen Thursday, Oct. 15, from a vehicle in the 8900 block of 90th Street. The wallet was later found with all of its contents except some cash.
A wallet, check card, $100, a driver’s license and a Social Security card were reported stolen Thursday, Oct. 15, from a vehicle parked in the 8300 block of Jasmine Avenue.
A digital camera and an 80-gigabyte iPod were reported stolen Thursday, Oct. 15, from a vehicle parked in the 8300 block of Ingberg Trail.
Two vehicles parked in the 7800 block of East Point Douglas Road were reportedly rummaged through Thursday, Oct. 15.
Three unknown suspects reportedly stole $92 worth of items from the shelves of the Holiday gas station at 8610 East Point Douglas Road Thursday, Oct. 15.
A vehicle in the 8500 block of 81st Street was reportedly broken into overnight between Wednesday, Oct. 14 and Thursday, Oct. 15. Nothing was taken.
A digital camera was reported stolen Thursday, Oct. 15, from an unlocked vehicle parked in a driveway in the 8200 block of Hemingway Avenue.
A Social Security card and credit cards were reported stolen Thursday, Oct. 15, from a vehicle parked in the 8800 block of 90th Street.
