Police responded to a call of a juvenile female trying to break into a home in the 8300 block of Hefner Court around noon Tuesday, Sept. 22. It turned out to be the homeowner’s daughter and her boyfriend meeting after cutting school.
Someone purchased $36 worth of gas at the Cottage Grove BP station with a check that came back due to non-sufficient funds Tuesday, Sept. 22.
A $90 bicycle was reported stolen Tuesday, Sept. 22 from Armstrong Elementary School.
A $200 bicycle was reported stolen Tuesday, Sept. 22 from Cottage Grove Junior High School. The complainant said the bike had been stolen sometime in the previous week.
A customer went inside of SuperAmerica on East Point Douglas Road Tuesday, Sept., 22, leaving their purse in their unlocked vehicle. When they returned the purse had been moved and a wallet containing miscellaneous credit cards and ID cards, and a checkbook was missing.
