A bicyclist ran into a vehicle at Hillside Trail and Hyde Avenue at about 4 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 17. The bicyclist was intoxicated and sustained lacerations on their head. They cyclist went to Woodwinds Hospital.
A bicycle was reportedly stolen between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 15, from a home in the 8700 block of 80th Street. It is a black mountain bike valued at $350.
A homeowner in the 9100 block of 91st Street threatened an Xcel Energy crew working near his home with a gun, telling them to, “Get the (expletive) out of my yard,” Friday, Sept. 18.
Someone witnessed a car driving around the corner of 81st Street and Scott Boulevard and knocking out a mailbox late Friday, Sept. 18. Police responded to the scene, and Justin James Haley, 21, of St. Paul Park, was arrested for third-degree DWI and driving after revocation.
An employee’s purse and a 2-liter bottle of pop were stolen from the Holiday Station on Pine Arbor Drive, Saturday, Sept. 19. Someone found the wallet and mobile phone from the purse on the Highlands Park Trails, and the victim found the rest of the purse with all of the items inside in a trash can. Everything was recovered except for $80. The thief was caught on video, and appears to be a juvenile male between 10 and 12 years old.
A resident reported Sunday, Sept. 20 that a mailbox in the 6500 block of 81st Street was struck and stolen by a vehicle that fled the scene.
A female left Carbone’s on Jorgensen Lane without paying for food and drinks Sunday, Sept. 20.
