Girls soccer: East Ridge earns first-ever win

Elizabeth Koprucki and the East Ridge girls soccer team earned the first win in program history on Thursday, Sept. 10 with a 3-0 win over Suburban East Conference opponent Roseville.
It was happy times at East Ridge High School on Thursday night as the Raptors girls soccer team broke into the win column with a 3-0 victory over visiting Suburban East Conference opponent Roseville for the first varsity triumph in program history. Individual statistics were not available.
IN OTHER NEWS:
— The East Ridge girls swimming and diving team earned a dual meet victory on Thursday with a 97-84 defeat of Forest Lake.
— The New Life Academy volleyball team fell in three games to Heritage (18-25, 19-25, 19-25; the Eagles girls soccer team topped Meadow Creek, 3-1.
