An Indian Boulevard resident reported Monday, Aug. 17, that he went on vacation over the weekend and returned home to find his car had been stolen. The keys to the vehicle were still inside the residence.
A resident in the 7400 block of Inman Avenue reported Monday, Aug. 17, that their bank debit card had been fraudulently used.
A computer valued at $799 was reported missing from a residence in the 8800 block of 91st Street Monday, Aug. 17.
A resident in the 6500 block of 77th Street reported Monday, Aug. 17, that their wallet was lost sometime over the last month and that their check card had been fraudulently used at a gas station and for a bank withdrawal.
A resident in the 500 block of Hale Avenue reported Monday, Aug. 17, someone tampered with a door jam, possibly in an attempt to break in causing $100 damage.
A resident in the 7800 block of Jenner Avenue reported Tuesday, Aug. 18, that some of their mail was received open, and some was found in a mailbox on Heron Avenue.
A resident in the 7900 block of Hearthside reported Tuesday, Aug. 18, they received money orders, which turned out to be fake when they attempted to cash them.
Police found the license plate of a vehicle parked in the American Motorsports parking lot to be that of a stolen vehicle Tuesday, Aug. 18, but determined that someone had switched out the plates unbeknownst to the vehicle’s owner.
Police are investigating an assault reported at 4 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 20, at American Motorsports Bar. The victim was transported to the hospital and no other information was available Thursday afternoon.
