CG weekend police reports

An iPod and GPS device with a value of $580 were reported stolen Thursday, Aug. 13, from an unlocked vehicle in the 7300 block of Jorgensen Avenue.

Two vehicles in the 7200 block of Joplin Avenue were entered, someone reported in the morning Thursday, Aug. 13. Stolen items include cigarettes, $20 cash and a GPS device.

A resident in the 8300 block of Hyde Court reported Thursday, Aug. 13, that a credit card stolen along with her motor vehicle in 2008 had been used. The account had $5,000 in charges and $3,000 in late fees on it.

Cash was stolen at a garage sale in the 7200 block of Joliet Avenue Thursday, Aug. 13. The money, $200, was sitting on the table. The resident turned her back to help customers, then turned back around, and the money was gone.

A resident in the 9100 block of Janie Avenue reported Thursday, Aug. 13, that a purchase worth $17.99 was fraudulently made through their PayPal account.

A package containing $6,500 worth of medication was reported stolen Thursday, Aug. 13, from a home in the 7600 block of Iverson Avenue. The package had been left on the home’s front porch by a FedEx delivery person.

A residence in on 74th Street Circle was reported burglarized Friday, Aug. 14.

A credit card stolen from Cold Stone Creamery Friday night was reportedly fraudulently used Saturday, Aug. 15, at Walgreen’s.

An officer located a car Sunday, Aug. 16, on Innovation Road with front-end damage and a large mailbox underneath it. The officer later located a 24-year-old Minneapolis woman at 3M security who was under the influence of alcohol. The woman admitted to the officer it was her car and she was arrested for third-degree DWI and driving after revocation.

A resident in the 8900 block of Jasmine Lane reported Sunday, Aug. 16, that he had been gone for a month, and when he returned his television, DVDs, a riding lawnmower, dining room chairs and other miscellaneous items were missing.
