Wolpers refurbishes bench at school

Dale Wolpers, retired Cottage Grove Junior High School assistant principal, was ready for work last week.

Dale Wolpers, retired Cottage Grove Junior High School assistant principal, was ready for work last week. He returned to school to remove and renovate a bench that was formerly in the school’s courtyard, which was closed by the Cottage Grove Fire Marshal because doors open one way only. The bench is dedicated in memory of Katherine Taack, who taught in the district for 29 years. The bench is now in front of the school where it can be used by kids waiting for parents.
