Weekend Cottage Grove police reports

The following incidents were recently reported to the Cottage Grove Police:

A 22-inch flat-screen television and a Fisher Price Power Wheels car with a total value of $900 were reported stolen from a garage in the 6700 block of Cattail Avenue. The garage had been left open.

A $300 cell phone was reported stolen July 23rd from Menard’s.

A copy machine, golf clubs, seven cases of beer and a DVD player with a total value of about $1,300 were reported stolen July 26 during a graduation party in the 8700 block of Isle Avenue. An assault was reported at the same address later that morning.

Someone reportedly entered a vehicle in the 6700 block of Wild Ridge Circle July 26.

A Blackberry cell phone was reportedly stolen from a vehicle in the 7200 block of Timber Trail July 26.

Red swastikas and racist remarks were spray-painted on vehicles in the 8100 to 8200 block of 83rd Street and the 8500 block of Hyde Avenue July 25. The ink was washable so there was no damage to the cars.
