Eagles’ Ramey earns scholarship

New Life Academy 2009 graduate Jenny Ramey received a $2,000 scholarship toward college from Coldwell Banker Burnet for her hard work and leadership in the classroom and on the field of play for the Eagles, along with being a positive role model to those around her, especially in her prep career. At New Life Academy, Ramey earned a total of 15 varsity letters in three sports — basketball, softball and soccer — including earning 15 All-Conference awards, three All-State honors and the school’s Athena Award. Ramey will attend Carleton College in the fall.
