Engaged: Hanson - Mortel

Heather Rose Hanson and Kory Charles Mortel, both of Woodbury, announce their engagement and plan to be married in St. Paul, on Friday, July 31.

Heather, the daughter of Donald Hanson, of Woodbury, has a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Stout. She is studying for a graduate degree in psychology at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and is a behavior specialist for the North St. Paul-Maplewood-Oakdale School District.

Kory is the son of Charles and Marsha Mortel, of Cottage Grove. He has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin-Stout and is a financial analyst at Alliance Bank of St. Paul.

Both are 2001 graduates of Park High School.
