The Royal Pack keeps on rolling.

After advancing to it’s first-ever playoff semifinals, the Park-Woodbury girls lacrosse team earned a trip to the Section 3 finals on Tuesday, May 26 with a 9-6 win over Bloomington Jefferson at Burnsville High School.

The seventh-seeded Royal Pack made it look somewhat easy against third-seeded Bloomington Jefferson in the win, leading from start to finish.

Park-Woodbury led 8-3, with just over 10 minutes left in the game, after Park junior Erin Spinks scored her second goal of the game. But, the Jaguars came back with three straight goals to make things a little interesting, cutting the Royal Pack lead to 8-6 with 7:10 remaining in the contest.

However, Park senior Katie Bahls iced things for the Royal Pack with 22.2 seconds remaining with her third goal of the game, making it 9-6.

Also scoring for the Royal Pack in the game, in addition to Spinks and Bahls, were Holly Frankenberg, Kelsie Anderson, Kayla Guanella and Kelby Land.

The Royal Pack, which was 3-0 at Burnsville High School in this year's playoffs, will now face the No. 1 seed Bloomington Kennedy at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, May 28 at Chaska High School.
