Engaged: Stretz-Starr

Deborah Starr, of Cottage Grove, and the late Robert Starr announce the engagement of their son, Jason Robert, to Lisa Marie, daughter of Laurie Stretz and John Stretz, both of Slinger, Wis. The wedding will take place July 18 in Slinger.

Jason is a 2000 graduate of Park High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. He teaches social studies at both Park and Woodbury high schools.

Lisa is a 2001 graduate of Slinger High School and a 2005 graduate of the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. She teaches English at Hope Community Academy, in St. Paul.

The couple lives in Cottage Grove.
