CITY OF NEWPORT NOTICE OF SALE

The City of Newport Public Works Department will be accepting sealed bids for the following:

1980 Trail King trailer

1989 Ford F150

1993 Chevrolet S10 Blazer 160000m

1991 Chevrolet Caprice 70000m

2000 Jeep Cherokee 104000m

2002 Ford Crown Vic. 105000m

2003 Ford Crown Vic. 117000m

These vehicles will be sold AS IS and may be viewed BY APPOINTMENT ONLY from 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M. Monday through Friday at the Public Works Garage located at 1100 Bailey Road, Newport, MN. 55055. Phone 651-459-2475 for appointment. Bids will be accepted no later than 10:00 A.M. on March 4th , 2009, with Bid Opening held at that time at Newport City Hall, 596 7th Avenue, Newport, MN. 55055. Envelopes should note “BID ENCLOSED”.

The City has the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
