Sheryl L. Shea died at her home in Jacksonville, N.C., on Monday, Feb.16, 2009. Sheryl served in the U.S. Navy. Survivors include husband George Shea Jr., Jacksonville; daughter Patricia Shea-Edgell, Jacksonville; and son, Mike Shea, St. Paul Park, Minn.Visitation was held at Johnson Funeral Home, Jacksonville on Thursday Feb. 19 from 7 to 9 p.m. Interment will be in the Coastal Carolina State Veterans Cemetery. The family requests in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
