St. Paul Park police reports

A listing of recent reports to the St. Paul Park police department.

Theft

An employee at Witzel Tree Moving reported someone was stealing diesel fuel from semi trucks parked at the business in the 1300 block of Seventh Street, Dec. 7.

A resident in the 1400 block of Blossom Lane reported Dec. 5 someone had obtained their checking account number and was writing checks on the account.

Someone smashed the front driver’s side window of a vehicle parked in the lot at Oltman Junior High School and took a leather briefcase, Dec. 4.

A resident in the 1300 block of Third Street, reported Dec. 4 someone opened a bank account in their name and wrote a check against the account.

A 1994 red Ford Explorer was reported stolen from a garage in the 800 block of Third Street Jan. 23.

An employee reported Jan. 19 that someone pried open a door at East Side Auto, in the 800 block of Main Street. Alarm wires were cut and the safe was broken into, according to the police report.

A resident in the 5500 block of 99th Street, Grey Cloud Island Township, reported Jan. 15 someone took several electronic items from the residence.

Someone reported the mailbox in front of the St. Paul Park Post Office was broken into and an unknown amount of mail taken, Jan. 6.

Vandalism

A resident in the 1000 block of Third Street reported Jan. 21 that someone has been throwing eggs at the house for two weeks.

A resident in the 800 block of Portland Avenue reported damage to the window of their vehicle while it was parked in the driveway Jan. 5.

Someone shot the rear window of a vehicle at a residence in the 1400 block of Portland Avenue Jan. 5.

A visitor in the 1200 block of Summit Avenue reported the driver’s-side front and rear windows of their vehicle were broken Jan. 5.

A resident reported Dec. 12 the back window of his pick-up truck camper was smashed while it was parked in the 1100 block of McCammon Avenue.

A boat motor and gas can were reported taken from a boat in storage in the back yard of a residence in the 1000 block of First Street, Dec. 12.

DWI

Lars W. Henthorne, 24, of Oakdale, was arrested for third-degree DWI on Jan. 25 after police stopped his vehicle at Broadway and Summit avenues.

David G. Sanders, 36, Hudson, Wis., was arrested for third-degree test refusal, fourth-degree DWI, stop sign violation and improper left turn after police stopped his vehicle at Highway 61 and Summit Avenue, Jan. 10.

Curfew

Police reported they stopped a juvenile male walking south in the 1400 block of Lincoln Avenue at about 2 a.m. on Jan. 18 not appropriately dressed for the weather. He was transported home and cited for juvenile curfew violation.

Felony

Edward T. Bubb, 58, St. Paul Park, was arrested for felony domestic assault after police were called to the 1600 block of Dixon Drive, Jan. 18. During the same incident, Marcine Beth Sanders-Bubb, 42, St. Paul Park, was arrested for two gross misdemeanor warrants.

Marijuana

Police picked up a juvenile male smoking a marijuana cigarette in the alley of the 1100 block of Fifth Street, near Oltman Junior High School, Jan. 6.

Warrants

Anthony J. Arcand, 45, current address unknown, was arrested for driving after revocation, no insurance, expired registration, possession of a small amount of marijuana and five outstanding warrants, after police stopped his vehicle in the 800 block of Summit Avenue, Jan. 2.
