The Cottage Grove Athletic Association would like to thank VFW Post 8752 “The Red Barn” for their help and assistance this past nine months. When our bingo operation lost its home next to Rainbow, the VFW graciously opened its doors to us for bingo. We have really enjoyed our short stay, but the current economy has made it impossible for us to continue at the present time.

The VFW has always been there to help support this community. We in turn need to support them with their Taco Tuesdays and their fish fry on Fridays so they can continue with their good works.

CGAA would also like to thank all of our customers over the 17 years we have been doing bingo in Cottage Grove. So many of you have become good friends and part of our big family. Bingo has been very good to CGAA raising thousands of dollars for our athletic programs. We would also like to thank the best group of employees. When people care about what they are doing it shows. We had the best!

Thanks goes out to ABC Rental of South St. Paul for all their help in both of our moves this year. They made the daunting task of moving so much easier. You guys were great.

Even though we no longer have bingo, CGAA will continue to raise funds for youth athletics at American Motorsports Bar and Grill and at Franke’s Bar with our pulltab operation.

Brad Bacon, President of CGAA

Mary Perren, Gambling Manager of CGAA
