Darlene L. Werrbach, 82

Darlene L. Werrbach, 82, passed away on Jan. 26, 2009.

Darlene was born to Robert and Clara (Olson) Johnson on Nov. 28, 1926 in Park Rapids, Minn. She went to school in Menahga, Minn. and graduated from Menahga High School in 1944. On May 15, 1946, she was joined in marriage to her husband Herbert “Jerry” Werrbach.

Darlene had lived in St. Paul Park for close to 50 years. During that time, Darlene had worked for the Defense Plant checking ammunition, the Golden Rule, Pullman Elementary as a Title One aide and also for West Publishing. When not busy with work she enjoyed baking, knitting, sewing, dining out, camping and road trips.

Darlene is preceded in death by her husband Herbert “Jerry”; daughter Michelle; and son Steven. 

She is survived by her children Scott (Anna), Robin (Jeff Tentinger) Werrbach, Mark (Cathy LaManna), Keith; grandchildren Scotty, Jennifer Frank, Lisa LaManna, Christina LaManna, Genna LaManna; great-grandchildren Vanessa LaManna, Noah Frank, Matthew Frank, Mikayla Frank; brothers Robert (Bobbie) Johnson, Donald (Betty) Johnson, Richard (Barb) Johnson; sisters Hazel Wright, Bonnie Kangas; and many other family and friends. 

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Avenue, St. Paul Park. Visitation was from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 30, 2009 at the funeral home as well as one hour prior to the service. Private internment at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
