Q&A with ‘Lovey’

Q: What’s your favorite sports memory?
A: Making it to state in diving when I was in ninth grade.
Q: Do you have one individual performance at a meet that sticks out as being a great one?
A: I swam the 100 breaststroke at sections in 2007 and dropped three seconds from my best time.
Q: Do you have one individual performance at a meet that sticks out as being a bad one?
A: At Tartan last month I had one of my worst breaststroke times.
Q: Do you have any pre-game rituals?
A: Listen to my iPod and shake all of my limbs to get the nerves out.
Q: Do you have a nickname?
A: Lovey, because I was a cuddly child.
Q: What do you like to do out of the pool?
A: I like to hang out with my friends, go to church, snowboard, and sleep and eat a lot.
Q: What’s your favorite TV show and/or movie?
A: My favorite TV show is Avatar the last Airbender, because I love cartoons.
Q: Who’s your favorite athlete?
A: Michael Phelps. He is crazy good.
Q: What’s your favorite sports team? (besides your own)
A: I’m not a big fan of watching sports, I would rather be doing them.
Q: What’s your favorite sport?
A: Swimming and diving, they tie for first.
Q: Second favorite sport?
A: Lacrosse, because it is a nice change to play a sport outside of the water
Q: What are your future goals?
A: My future goals are to graduate from Park, go to college and become a dental hygienist
Q: What advice do you have for young players?
A: Work hard in class and in the pool; it will pay off.
