Newport mayoral candidates debate
Newport mayoral candidates Kevin Chapdelaine and Ernest Berget sparred on cutting city staff, development and many other issues at a debate held Wednesday night at the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission studio.
Newport mayoral candidates Kevin Chapdelaine and Ernest Berget sparred on cutting city staff, development and many other issues at a debate held Wednesday night at the South Washington County Telecommunications Commission studio.
The debate was cosponsored by the Bulletin and the commission. Candidate Tim Geraghty declined to participate.
To watch the debate, click on the link. It will also be rebroadcast on channel 18 on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 9 a.m. and 6 p.m. and on Sundays at 6 p.m.
