My 15-year-old daughter and a friend were watching the Strawberry Fest fireworks, and I was at home at the time a storm hit. I would like to thank the organizers at Strawberry Fest for the quick thinking and keeping my daughter and her friend safe. The Saturday storm came down so fast I didn’t have time to get her. They had people run into the school to get them out of the wind and rain. It was nice to know if the storm was worse she would have been taken care of. Thanks again!!
