FRIDAY, APRIL 3

EASTER MUSICAL DRAMA -- "Crown Him," an Easter musical drama, will be presented at New Life Church of Woodbury, 6758 Bailey Road, on two weekends, Friday through Sunday, April 3 to 5 and Thursday through Saturday, April 9 to 11. Performances are scheduled at 7 p,m, Friday and Saturday, with a matinee at 3 p.m. on Sunday, April 5 only. Tickets are $9 for adults and $5 for children, 12 and younger. Parents are asked not to bring children, 5 and younger. Tickets can be reserved in advance. For details, call (651) 459-0444 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

SATURDAY, APRIL 4

EASTER BUNNY TO VISIT AT MALL -- Children are invited to meet the Easter Bunny from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, at Valley Creek Mall, 1750 Weir Drive, in Woodbury. The event is free and kids will visit merchants for candy and toys. There will be a craft room, coloring contest, face painting, refreshments and a balloon artist. Parents are encouraged to bring a camera.

RALLY FOR DEB HUNSTAD -- A fundraiser for Deb Hunstad, longtime resident of Cottage Grove, is scheduled from 2 to 8 p.m. Saturday, April 4, at the American Legion Post 98 Hall, 328 Broadway Ave., in St. Paul Park. The $10 ticket includes food, beverages, entertainment and chances at a silent auction, meat raffle and door prizes.

RUMMAGE SALE -- Spend Saturday, April 4, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the spring rummage and bake sale at the Woodbury campus of Woodbury/Peaceful Grove United Methodist Church, 7465 Steepleview Road. From noon to 1 p.m. prices go down to $3 per bag.

SUNDAY, APRIL 5

EASTER BUNNY BREAKFAST AT RED BARN -- The Easter Bunny and the Cottage Grove Lions Club are hosting breakfast and a bake sale from 8 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, at the Cottage Grove VFW Post 8752 Red Barn, 9260 East Point Douglas Road, in Cottage Grove.

Families are invited for a breakfast of pancakes, sausage, eggs, coffee, milk and juice. Tickets are $6 for adults and $3 for children, 12 and younger. Proceeds from the event support the club's charitable activities in the community. Parents are encouraged to bring a camera for photos with the Easter Bunny and live chicks will be available for kids to pet.

MONDAY, APRIL 6

HIGH-ACHIEVING KIDS -- Dr. Stephen Schroeder-Davis will lead a discussion to help parents of gifted and high-achieving students from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday, April 6, at Lake Junior High School, 3133 Pioneer Drive, in Woodbury. The program is open; admission is $8. Schroeder-Davis is a curriculum specialist and gifted-talented coordinator for the Elk River Public Schools. His presentation will also cover gifted underachievers and those who are not yet formally identified. TUESDAY, APRIL 7

ALL-NIGHT PARTY BENEFIT -- Applebee's Neighborhood Grill, in Cottage Grove, will donate 20 percent of your bill to the Park High School all-night party when you dine in or take out meals from 10:30 a.m. to 12 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, and hand over the event flyer.
