The Cottage Grove Athletic Association along with Park High School football boosters are sponsoring a four-person scramble and best ball golf tournament beginning a 1 p.m. on Friday, July 30, at Mississippi Dunes Golf Links, 10351 Grey Cloud Trail in Cottage Grove.

The first American Cancer Society Bark For Life will be held from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, at Colby Lake Park in Woodbury.

Washington County Parks will feature Warner Nature Center and Underwater Adventures in two separate free campfire programs, both set for 7:15 p.m. Saturday, July 31. Topics include "Life on a Reef" at St. Croix Bluffs Regional Park, and "Kestrels" at the Lake Elmo Park Reserve.

The Park High School Class of 2000 will meet for its 10-year reunion from 8:30 to 11:30 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, at the St. Croix Boat & Packet Co. in Stillwater. The river cruise will include hors d'oeuvres and a cash bar. Parking is free.

Hope Adoption & Family Services is hosting "Classic Cars of Hope," from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 1, at the Hope site, 5850 Omaha Ave. N., in Oak Park Heights.

St. Paul Park will host its ninth National Night Out from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3, at Heritage Park, Laurel and 14th avenues. National Night Out is a night designated to get out and meet neighbors, turn on exterior lights on and give crime a going away party

Newport residents and their friends are invited to participate in Minnesota Night to Unite from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3, on the grounds of the Newport Lutheran Church, 900 15th St.

National Noon Out for seniors will take place from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 3, at Norris Square Presbyterian Home in Cottage Grove. Preregistration is required. For details, call (651) 458- 6650.
