CONCERT OF JOY -- The music ministries at the Church of St. Rita will present their "Concert of Joy V" to benefit the Friends in Need Food Shelf, at 7 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at the church, 8694 80th St., Cottage Grove. Admission is a freewill donation to the Friends in Need Food Shelf, of St. Paul Park.
FIESTA, DANCING, RAFFLE -- The Grey Cloud Elementary PTA is hosting a Mexican fiesta and basket raffle from 5 to 7 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 1. Everyone is welcome to attend. Dinner will be served until 6:30 p.m., followed by the raffle and the Los Alegres Bailadores, a Mexican dance troupe. Admission is $5 per adult and $4 per student, 4 and older. Walk-ins are welcome.
PARENT'S NIGHT OUT -- Members of the District 833 Community Youth Council will entertain your children, ages 3 to 11, from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 1, at Royal Oaks Elementary School, Woodbury. All District 833 children are eligible to participate. The cost is $12 per child; children must be out of diapers. Preregistration is required. HOPE FOR ANDREW -- The Hope for Andrew Benefit will take place from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Mississippi Dunes Golf Club, Cottage Grove. Tickets are $20 each and include a chicken dinner, auction, magic show and live music. The Neuman family will soon take 4-year-old Andrew, who is blind, to China for stem-cell treatment.
BREAKFAST -- Park High School cheerleaders invite everyone to an all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, at Applebee's Neighborhood Grill, Cottage Grove. Tickets are $5 and will be available at the door.

For a Super Bowl pancake breakfast, stop by St. Rita's Church, Cottage Grove, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 3. Adults tickets are $6 and tickets for kids, 4 to 12 years, are $3.50.

Members of most political parties in District 57 will gather at their biennial precinct caucuses on Tuesday, Feb. 5, beginning at 7 p.m. to cast presidential preference ballots and discuss important issues.
