Weekend Cottage Grove police reports
The following incidents recently appeared on the Cottage Grove Police Department call log:
Police were called to Cub Foods Friday, July 9, on a report of an unruly customer who was upset about the information given to them about a product. The customer was gone when police arrived.
A resident in the 8100 block of Hyde Lane reported Friday, July 9, that a couple of different accounts had been fraudulently opened using her identity. Police are investigating the incidents.
A gas leak was reported in the 8200 block of Jeffrey Avenue Friday, July 9. The party involved had been working on something in their house. The fire department along with Xcel Energy handled the leak.
A bicyclist struck the passenger side door of a car while turning in to Hinton Heights Apartments Saturday, July 10. The cyclist sustained minor injuries, and was not transported to a hospital.
