Washington County considers park fee change to address maintenance costs

Washington County officials are considering changes in park user fees to accommodate a growing number of visitors and additional operation costs.

County parks, including the popular Lake Elmo Park Reserve and Cottage Grove Ravine Regional Park, attract an estimated 1.5 million visitors per year, a 50 percent jump from 2007, according to county figures.
